Flower Vase or Candle Holder?

How about both?

While perusing the second-hand store yesterday, I came across these babies.

At first I wanted to turn them into something else, but I ended up just washing them and adding a little color.

I went outside and got some flowers. 

Then I pushed a few sprigs of greenery down into the vase along with the flowers and filled them up with water. (I've heard that distilled water will prevent the bubbles, but I kinda like them, they add a little whimsy and wonder to the vase.)

After the vases were filled I added the tops back on and inserted tea lights. It was that simple.
