Hiya, I'm Laina.
I was born and raised in the Texas panhandle, but Denmark has been my home for the past 2 years.
I set out on my adventures in blog-land in the Fall of 2010, but only started my blog after a dear friend gave me a little push.
Most of the time you can find me playing with my food, or completely covered in paint. I love trying to decorate on a VERY tiny budget and limited products. Denmark is not known for it's selection of acrylic paint colors, and even less known for it's selection of spray paint colors. (If anyone is dying to help a girl out, I'll be glad to let you mail me some crafting supplies from the US.)

Some random things about me:
- I love peanut butter, but I can't stand peanuts.
- Granny Smith Apple green is my favorite color, but orange is a close second.
- My taste in music is broadly eclectic.
- I have very specific rules on how to do things. (Can you say OCD much?)
- I try to drink at least 8 glasses of green tea every day, but lately it's just been water.
- When I was a kid, I dreamed of having my own pet lion or tiger.
- I would love to have a farm full of animals and vegetable gardens.
- I'm was raised as a christian (Lutheran to be exact), but I am now wiccan.
- I married the son of a priest.
- Lambrusco is my favorite wine.
- I sound like a feral cat when I try to sing.
- I met my husband through an online game we both played.
- Though it may be hard to tell, I am extremely shy.
