The Good Wife

Lately we've been watching some lawyer show called The Good Wife. Which brings me to the topic of today's post by me (Hans, Laina's husband) about what constitutes a good wife. We've been married for close to a year now, and I've learned (from Laina) that this is what being a good wife means:

1) You never hesitate to improve your husband's wardrobe. Even if it means getting rid of some of it for him. Preferably covertly.

2) You patiently explain to your husband that there is a right way and a wrong way to do things. And your way is the right way, so it'd be helpful if he pays attention when showing him how to fold towels properly or fry eggs so they don't touch.

3) For sake of household harmony, you take over the household. Kind of like the Allies did with Germany after WW2, much easier and reliable than trying to negotiate.

4) In order to keep your husband from getting fat, you either hide his chocolate stash or trim it a little whenever it grows too large.

If anyone else has useful tips on how to be a good wife, I'm sure Laina would be grateful for anything you have to offer.
