Lately I've been really frustrated with my furniture, and the whole 'feel' of our apartment. It's a mismatched, eclectic mess. It's been stressing me out more and more everyday. After having a mini breakdown yesterday, Hans suggested I make a list of everything I want changed. So, that's what I did. The list is long, but incomplete. My hand was cramping, so I decided to turn to Pintrest.
It didn't take me long to find things I loved, but most of what I found would be impossible to acquire here in Denmark. So, I decided to turn to Ikea for some virtual window shopping. I found several things online that I am dreaming to own. Good thing Ikea is cheap, because my husband is going to have a heart attack when he sees everything on my wish list!
Starting in the living room I am dreaming of replacing the giant, ugly, cluttered entertainment center with this.

And the coffee table would become this.

The cheap little particle board dresser would be replaced by this.

I'll take a few of these.

And one of these.

I'd love to have this mirror.

I want to replace my desk, which is falling apart, with this.

Maybe one day I can have this.

I've got tons more on my Pintrest, but I've way beyond exceeded our budget already.
What do you think so far? Any suggestions?
Do you know of any other cheap places I can find furniture and accessories here in Denmark?

:o Dont be silly girl! The apartment is just fine, I like it :D I thinks you are just putting crazy ideas in that pretty head of yours and you dont actually enjoy what you have *runs*
ReplyDeleteI wouldnt buy a single table for a rented apartment (provided that the apartment has what it needs). Whenever I feel like a change I change some candles here and there and I feel alot better :)
I wish it were that simple for me. I've tried the candles and the accessories, and rotating furniture from one room to another. It's just not working for me. Most of our furniture is cheap 'place holders' until we can get something we want.
