Yesterday, Hans and I went to Hjerl Hede, in Vinderup, with his sister and her family. It was an amazing experience.
Hjerl Hede is an open air museum about the size of a a very small village. Most of the buildings there are between 200 and 250 years old. One building, Denmark's oldest farmhouse, is almost 500 years old! For about 7 weeks during the summer, and up until Christmas, Hjerl Hede comes to life by people who dress and work as villagers. These villagers interact with tourists from all over the world. They talk about life in the village and the work they do. If you're ever in the area, I encourage you to stop by!
Now for about a gazillion pictures I took while we were there.

| More of the Stone age settlement, The interior was too dark for pictures, but there was nothing more than a dirt floor and a bunch or rocks in a circle to make a campfire. |
| We're not sure what this is, it was all alone with no signs next to a huge pasture full of sheep. |
