The past week has gone by so fast. I feel like I've been running in circles, but have very little to show for it.
I have, however, managed to get a quick project in. I don't have a tutorial for this one, but it's pretty straight forward and super easy.
I went thrifting, yet again, and this time I bought dishes and candle holders.
Here's what I made with them.
I glued 2 candle holders end to end, then glued to the center of a large plate. Followed by 2 more candle holders and a bowl. Then glued the bowl on top of the first set of candle holders. Finally, glued another, smaller bowl on top.
For the time being, I'm using it to hold some of my craft supplies.
What do you think?

I've always wanted to make one of these with plates. Really cute!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Your are just too crafty girl!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love it...you may even paint the plates with same color and leave the glass transparent and fill in some treasures in it!
ReplyDeleteKathy, it was super easy, took me about 2 minutes to glue it together and then I just waited for it to dry overnight.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marie! I've been having a hard time thinking up new things to create.
PC, I had considered painting the plates, but decided not to. I love the idea of puting things inside the glass!
Hello! I'm following you now, too and I LOVE your blog! I made a tiered server like this last year for my mom for Christmas, but she broke it :( I usedd -6000 glue-what did you use?
ReplyDeleteAurora, I used that glue in the last 2 pictures. There's not any E6000 here in Denmark, so I used that stuff, it's called "clear contact glue" it's like a cross between silicon and super glue.
ReplyDeleteCool! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteGreat I love it, I love upcycling things! Now following you via fb,nb,pin and google. Karima x
