Adding to the Art

I'm sorry I was MIA yesterday. The day got away from me, and I went to bed without a second thought. When I awoke this morning, I realized I didn't post anything! I hope you can forgive me. Now, onto today's post!

About a month ago, the very first project on here was my abstract art. Since completing that project, my wall has stayed pretty bare.
Sorry about the lighting in this one.

Last week, while shopping at the thrift store, I found these.

And this.

Naturally, they needed a makeover, so I broke out the paint, and went to town.

On this one, I just painted it the reddish-copper and then glazed it with a gunmetal color.

Here's what the wall looks like now.

What do you think?

@PC, That branch thing was last year's modern Christmas tree, if I decorate it again this year, I will definitely be posting about it.

@Marie, I've gotten pretty good shopping super cheap, I am loving that the thrift store down the street from me now has a website!

@Kathy, Love ya girl! You're such a flatterer!
