Giveaway: Joanniel Creations

***Giveaway has ended.***

I am pleased to offer another giveaway from Joanniel Creations!

For those of you who are new to my blog, I was lucky enough to host Jo's last giveaway a month ago. The response was so good, she asked me to host a 2nd giveaway!

Jo's jewelry has been featured on Etsy, more than once. Now, you will have the opportunity to win some for yourself!

I love these hand painted turquoise earrings with red beads.

The silver tree earrings are definitely calling my name!

I am still swooning over this turquoise and red ring!

Jo has the perfect piece (or several pieces) for every woman and every outfit!

Family Bus Trip

Last weekend my husband's 'morfar' (mother's father/grandfather) took the whole family on a bus trip. Every year he pays to charter a bus, and foots the bill for any admission fees and dinner. This is his "Happy Birthday" to the entire family. There's more than 50 of us, probably more than 60. So, this trip is far easier than remembering every single person's birthday!

This year we all met up at an inn, in Borbjerg. We boarded the bus and went to Højriis slot where we participated in a murder mystery set around 1929. I didn't take pictures of every room, but I did get a lot.

We had a picnic lunch at the castle and then drove to a hill. I don't remember the name, but hills are pretty rare over here. This particular hill is about 1000 meters above sea level. We only stopped to walk around for a few minutes before driving back to the Bjorberg Inn, for dinner. They had animals all around the inn property. I saw ostriches, llamas, and donkeys, but I only remembered to take pictures of the donkeys.

We had a lot of fun, but it was a long, exhausting day. Hope you enjoyed all the pictures. I'll try to not be gone too long, this time.

I'm back, sorta.

Some of you may have noticed me missing for a while, 13 days to be exact. There's no real reason for my absence, just haven't felt like saying anything. I've not done any projects, nor cooked anything blog worthy. Right now, I am dying to decorate for fall, and would give an arm and a leg to properly celebrate Halloween. I miss my friends and family back home. I miss the parties. I miss the social interaction. Hopefully one day, I'll have that again.
